Payroll processing is not part of the project.
As through PA41, positions can not be changed, I will have to do that through PP01.
But can you help with the error message coming while running LSMW for PA41 which is "Org assignment cannot be changed if start date changed".

The employee that you are receiving the error for needs to have absence quota for the particular absence quota type that the absence itself deducts from. If you check infotype 2006 then you will see that the employee either has no quota entitlement remaining or has less quota entitlement remaining than the amount of time you are entering for the absence.
If you want to give the employee quota you can give them an infotype 2013 record to transfer some entitlement hours or if you have set up rules to generate the entitlement then just run time evaluation.
If what I've stated above doesn't seem like it will work for you then please provide some more details as to your requirement, and what your expectations are concening the absence you are entering and the quota deduction.

If you are applying as employee you need to configure trip schema and single field control for webdynpro provided you are using webdynpro application as employee.
there in the tri provision variant you need to enter the variant you have created.
Under that select the travel planning trip schema PL.
on right hand side you have a field trip schema: statutory where you need to select appropriate schema from drop-down.

Just select the respective payment method (check with your finance dept, if in doubt) in infotype 0009 (before final payroll run) then proceed as normal with pre-DME and ask the payrun expert from your finance department to guide you through the actual payment (i. e. print) process in your test system. You are likely to hit authorisations issues and probably need to make some config changes, if info printed on payroll cheque needs to differ from other payments.
You should also discuss payroll posting with the finance team: do they expect payments through cheque posted differently from bank transfers?
There may also be specifics for your particular country.
Enjoy the process - after all cheque processing is like travelling back in time (or like travelling to the US) ;-)
I believe this field to be MOLGA specific so take a look in table T521A to see if the field is relevant for your country.

In Step 3 : userid and password : Are you telling about Learning Portal userid/password r8 ?
From Step 3 and 5; Do I've to deal with below set of user ids:
1.SAP R/3
2.ESS/Learning Portal
3.New user id of AE to ECC access : no idea : when I open AE it never asks for a separate user id/ password: Currently I am opening AE via a windows batch file named las.bat . AE opens but not sure whether every LSO user opens like this or not 
Step 6-9 : I have confidence, can do that 
Step 10 No external LMS: so it's not in scope. Do you mean virtual learning in step 10?

We are implementing SFSF EC (Employee Central). Can someone please help me the configuration required for setting up W4 in EC of SF
The countries tried to add was China and Hong Kong. Howeve, when I added these countries the fields were not affected. I was able to play around and get other countries fields to display and not display.
In the Veh. field I put in CN for China and HK for Hong Kong. I am not sure these are the right values for these countries.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Try CHI instead of CN for China in that field.
We have a requirement where we need to ask Competency questions in a survey form. I have created a Appraisal Template with the sections and questions under the sections (Category / Criteria Group / Criterion)
Now this is what I need to do:
1) Have 2 columns against each Question. 1st column for Employee to fill their answer and 2nd column for the Manger to fill their answers. Both columns can be only accessed by the respective individual and the other column will become a display only.
2) Can we build a Skip logic in Questions. Meaning - if a question ask - Have you worked in Industry A, Answer = Yes or No, then If Yes, ask certain set of questions and If No, then skip the relevant Criteria Group.
Right now, I am using WDA application - HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI_ESS and HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI_MSS to see the Appraisal entry... Are there other applications that can be used to see the Appraisal document.

When you are in Authoring Environment (AE) you have to connect to ECC to retrieve CMS location. You need a User ID / role for that.
You also need to create a user id / role in the J2EE server (CMS) so that you can connect to the CMS from AE.
You have to have appropriate roles for all User ID's so that they can access the Content Player and play the course in the portal.
Step 10 is when you want to bring content from external LMS like SkillSoft or Brainshark etc....

Hi all, we have the following scenario. Our client uses EC and Cloud PY and in the termination process the USER IDs of those employees are set of course to inactive but our customer would like to evaluate data from their retired employees (USER ID inactive). Issue : the API we are using is not able to read the data of an inactive user and therefore we are not able to evaluate this data. Any help is highly appreciated, Regards

Have you tried Authoring environment(AE) tool for creating any Content . Try to package them and publish it via Learning portal storing in CMS .
AE tool creates SCORM Compliant packages .
There are several 3rd part software available in market to convert any content to SCORM compliant.
However, if you are able to do it via Adobe captivate free of cost, then let me know as SCORM compliance content is a challenge for me too for last couple of months
