Yeah, I kind of guess that this is the only route. I'll give this post till end of the week and I will close it. See if there is anyone out there who have done a similar transition and have some tricks and tips for me.
Re: Migrate Payslip from PE51 to HRFORMS
Time Constraint between two different subtypes of the same Infotype
Hi Experts,
We have a custom Infotype which has multiple subtypes (The subtype is a 4 character code stating the Employee's work location.)
An employee can only work in a single location at one point of time.
Hence the Requirement:
To allow only one record to exist at once - and this could be any subtype.
How can this requirement be achieved.

Somdeb.
Re: Hiring Action
To store the actions on the same day, we have IT0302 (Additional Actions).
To acticate this use EVSUP switch in T77S0 table and also in T529A table, you have to check the U0 and U0 check boxes for your Hiring action to have two actions on the same day.
Whenever the two actions run on same day, additional action will be stored in IT0302.
Coming to reusing the PERNR to delete the PERNR use the program RPUDELPN.
Thanks,
Madhav.
Re: How to write PCR to determine Gratuity Amount
You have many screen captures but none show the processing of ZGRT (It's Input Table, processing of WT 1000, and the output IT)
Could you modify your pcr with the following sequence for return value Y
ADDWT *
NUM=F01Y
MULTI NAA
AMT/30
ADDWT 5000
Then, do a Payroll Simulation with the "Display Log" box checked, and drill down into the log to see the processing of ZGRT, even only to confirm that NUM=F01Y gives out a value that is different from 0, and if it is, that WT 5000 is generated into the output IT.

Re: Migrate Payslip from PE51 to HRFORMS
arpit indicated correctly to you, unfortunately there is no migration of pe51 to new smartforms
only thing you could do is copy standard ones and modify according to your requirements.
1. HRFOR - This feature decides whether to use HRFORMS or CEDT forms
(configured in PE51) for the payslip. If HRFORMS, the name of HRFORM has
to be mentioned here. If PE51 needs to be used then $CEDT$ should be
specified.
2. EDTIN - This should hold the value of the variant to be executed in
the CEDT program (payslip program). The variant should be proper with
the with the correct CEDT (payslip) form name and other parameters.
3. EDPDF - The name of the smartform (standard smartform
HR_ESS_PAYSLIP_TO_PDF or customer specific form) used to show the output
in the ESS.
Re: Performance management process selection
You can do it in the backend system as well using PHAP_CREATE_PA?
or you want to control via MSS through create button, and what you explain is possible to use different templates for different set of employees
Re: HR Renewal 1.0 Installation problem
there is a section called Analytics and it comes from Launchpad role of HRPAO instance reporting
in lpd_cust
verify this and of course since you can see SPRO, you can verify it in analytics section
Re: Query is already open in another session
you are right Johan, We should be lookin at the root cause and all these are workaround
Now best way is to use shadowing and consider auto time out sessions, if the user is not logged off when he closed the application
can you verify this step, after he closes the application, is there any orphan locks hanging in sm12 for this application? this need to be verified! from application and basis perspective
Leave Entitlements for Part Time Non Exempt Employees
Hi,
Our Company would like to begin offering leave to Part Time Non Exempt Employees. Currently they have a schedule "OFF" which has no hours associated with it and have to enter time (via a Wage Type) to be paid, Our interim solution is for them to have a schedule that matches their anticipated schedule. They'd prefer for them have an "OFF" schedule and have leave entitlement. My position is that you can't have Negative and Positive Time Keeping for the same person and have Payroll play nicely.
Has anyone else faced this and how did you resolve it?
Thanks!
Stephanie
Re: Manager Self Service for A012 & A002 realationship Manager.

This can be removed by depth and it can be restricted Usually SAP_MANG, PTESSDIR, SBESX, ie OSP is a simple evaluation path
check the standard ones available at T77AW and use one of them in your rules above
or in your evaluation path, if you select option exclude managers, it ll exclude all the subordinate managers, under the current manager, and take into account you can use BAdI HRWPC_EXCL_MANAGERS to fulfill your own requirements.
>> I think you don't want this one . But verify
Anyhow, you need to restrict the evaluation path and use a simple one instead of looking at the subordinate of subordinates, try these options.
FM can restrict th structure when it is constructing it! Please refer it and debug.
You could also use the function module HRWPC_OADP_TEST to test the OADP
customizing.

Re: Professional Tax Slab Changes
Hi Gautam,
Thanks for the reply. In which table I should make the date changes? As in Table V_T7INP4, there is no option to change the date. Rather, there is no column for date.
Thanks
PMS - 360 Appraisals
Hi,
I have created a 360 degree appraisal template with Template mode as " Make Anonymous When closing with registration".
However, am unable to register the participants via phap_prepare_pa as the 360 degree appraisal template name is not visible in the drop down list. Any ideas to overcome this?
Thanks,
Sachin
Re: Professional Tax Slab Changes
Hi Bhagya,
You have to create the slabs in V_T7INP3 and maintain the date from 01.03.2013 to 31.03.2013.
Regards
Gautam
Re: Professional Tax Slab Changes
Hi,
As per your instructions i did the same. Also, what I analysed was that in slab, the amounts are maintained for annual gross values, whereas, we require for monthly gross. So how to do this?
Thanks
Re: Professional Tax Slab Changes
Hi Bhagya,
In V_T7INP4, maintain your slab MP02 from 01.03.2013 to 31.03.2013.
In V_T7INP3, maintain your slab MP02 with amount Rs. 212.00.
System will take care of gross calculation.

Gautam
Re: Time Constraint between two different subtypes of the same Infotype
Hi,
According, to you in each subtype one record should exist.?
For that,
Check the table T591A and T528A.
Define the time constraints for your subtype's.
OR
Go to PM01, select any IT and go to Infotype char's. Select infotype 6.
Go to details, you ill see one screen in that subtype fields table name are maintain.
go through that.

Vijay
HCM-List of infotypes and their brief summary
Dear All,
I am working for a client in Saudi arabia. We have quite a no of modules implemented which includes PA.OM,Negative TIME,PD,Recruitment,ESS,MSS,ECM.
Now Client wishes to improve the HCM system. They would like to capture maximum amount of their business data into various unutilized infotypes.
Currently in PA we are using only close to 25 infotypes.
My query is ,
1.Client would like to go through the list of infotypes in the modules(Say PA) provided by SAP, check against their requirement and see if the particular infotype is required for their business.
Is this approach correct?i know it is a very exhaustive process.
2. Which would be the correct place/link/document which the client can refer, to understand what a particular infotype does at a vey high level.
3.The infotypes which are not applicable for countries other than Saudi Arabia has to be filtered out. Also the submodules in HCM not implemented
like (Say Benefits) should be filtered out.
Kindly suggest your views on the above.
Thanks.

Rijuraj
