Hi Experts...we are having the business model that when an associate is promoted from trainee to permanent, then the conveyance allowance of Rs 800 is stopped from being payed as a W/T in IT0008. But the problem is suppose an employee is permanent after 3 months from April say, then when we are running the payroll for the month of July, then in the payslip under sec(10) exemptions column we are unable to see the 3 month exempted amount. Is there any standard workaround available in SAP or we need some customization?

Is it a persistent issue ? and did you ask him to clear the cache/cookies ? Have seen couple of similar cases, wherein clearing the cache/cookies does resolve the issue.

Hi Rizvi,
You can set the maximum number of attempts allowed for a test in the Test Author In Authoring environment. For this assessment needs to be created using Test Author. I case of externally developed assessment the maximum number of attempts should be mentioned in the assessment code.

Hi Prasad,
Try running RPTKOK00 and RPTBPC10. May be there are certain inconsistencies or there are some ghost deductions which are not getting reflected and not allowing to apply for leaves. To check the ghost deductions, you need to go on IT 2006, goto - > deductions and there might be some empty entries.

Help with BAPI_APPRAISAL_GETDETAIL
I have created a few appraisals via PHAP_CREATE_PA and PHAP_CHANGE_PA to complete. I have one appraisal in process.
I try to use BAPI_APPRAISAL_GETDETAIL to retrieve the appraisals but nothing is coming back.
I've entered plan no '01' and the appraisal id is 500000375.
I've tried it with filling the appraiser and appraisee tables, tried is without and tried with each, but every scenario return no appraisals found.
Could someone help me with this please?

Yes the total number ot attempts are set 5 at the moment and user already took these attempts.
I have tried to cancel participation via the participation menu and the cancel participation menu but ‘cancel participation is no longer allowed’ is the message, probably due to the 5/5 tries.
Is there an alternative method I can use to unbook and unlock this person

Time collision error on work schedule that spans 2 days
I have the following work schedule set up
Sunday 19:30 - 06:30 11hrs
Monday 19:30 - 06:30 11hrs
Tuesday 19:30 - 06:30 11hrs
Wednesday 23:30 - 06:30 7 hrs
Thurs-Sat - off
I enter hours only via CAT2, no start/end times. I get the following error when trying to transfer my time to HR "Insert cannot be made due to collision". I make the following attendance time entries for a day, for example on 3/30/2014
3 hours
2 hours
1 hour
1 hour
4 hours
The time transfer (via CAT6) results in the following PA2002 records
3/30/2014, 3 hrs, start time 19:30:00 end time 22:30:00
3/30/2014, 2 hrs, start time 22:30:00 end time 00:30:00
3/30/2014, 1 hr, start time 00:30:00 - 01:30:00
The remaining 1 hour and 4 hour entry causes the time collision. What is strange to me is the transfer always posts the first record that begins past midnight (in my test case a PA2002 record is created with start time of 00:30:00) but the remaining time entries generate a time collision. I would expect the remaining 2 time entries to be as follows:
3/30/2014, 1 hr, start time 01:30:00 end time 02:30:00
3/30/2014, 4 hrs, start time 02:30:00 end time 06:30:00
Does anyone know why I am getting these time collisions errors?

LSO - Confirm Participation of Static WBT Only After Course Has Been Accessed
Hi,
I am having some issues around preventing users from confirming their participation in Static Web-Based Training and getting the qualifications imparted to them without even accessing the course content.
Currently the user can click the "Confirm Participation" link, confirm their participation and gain the qualifications even if they have not accesed the course.
Can anyone provide me with a solution that checks if the user has accessed the course content (even once) before they can confirm their participation?

Users are no PD objects. They are the real SAP users and van therefore not be copied with any HR report - but I'd also assume you don't realky eant to copy all SAP users - to begin with, the copies would need new unique usernames.
Can you clarify, what exactly it is you want to copy? Is it the relationships linking the users to the positions?

You need at least two time type for OT. One for OT in normal working days and second for OT in holidays.
Now go and run PT60 and consider GWT M ZML time evaluation output.

Has anyone created a Bus Event Attendee List (PV07) update using a badge/scanner?
Has anyone created a means to update the Bus Event Attendee List (PV07) using a badge swipe and scanner? We may have 50-1000 attendees to a Business Event and have to update PV07 manually for each. This takes a long time to make updates. We can consider PA70 and other means. But, ideally, we would like to develop an iPad application to use a scanner to scan an Employee's badge and automatically populate the employee number into the Attendee List.
Also, since some Business Events (classes) require signatures. we would like the above application to have the ability to also store he employee's signagture as an attachment in PA0024. Has anyone done this?
I would greatly appreciate any insight on how to do this? We have our application developers and ABAP team. So, if you know the entry points and can help provide any tips/tricks I would certainly appreciate the help. Thanks.

Hi Rizvi, delimiting/deleting relationship between person and course will probably help. Once this is done the person will not be able to see the course in his learning portal.

Check the configuration of your PaySlip (Remuneration Statement).
Current values should come from current pay's RT, retroactive values should come from recalculated pays, and cumulative total for the year should be the one comming from CRT.
If you want the % only to appear on the line for current pay, then create a distinct Line Type/Column Type for them, without the number.

Country Specific language issue
When hiring for Belgium through Action, on IT0100 (Create Social Insurance), getting messages “Official language is not valid, select a valid legal language” when press enter anotther message comes “Language for company NVBG is incomplete, check table T581S”.

I encounter similiar error:
Account with the following search key was not found: xxxxHRC1316 (from msg# 3G203)
Internal error when defining the account for search key xxxxHRC1316
Required field GL_ACCOUNT was not transferred in parameter ACCOUNTGL
The change I was making is enabling "Employee Group" rule from OBYE. Originally we had symbolic account determination GL account directly. We had need to enable Employee Group (PPMOD).
My resolution was to add a blank key into the rule
example:
symbolic account eegroup gl
1316 1 some gl acct
1316 2 some gl account
I had to add in
1316 <blank> some gl account
hope this help someone in the future.....
